Not convinced major tech YouTubers doing segments on #Linux is actually such a good thing overall.
Their take basically boils down to; you can't run Photoshop and being not informed enough to show you any of the benefits.
@maya @alcinnz heh - I think you misunderstand me. I'm not against graphical interfaces and I build them for the benefit of others. I just think it's the height of arrogance for someone to suggest that others are somehow deficient and even implying they're elitist for not having pro-actively built one for people who choose not to learn a perfectly serviceable CLI.
Pinetab and the terminal
Due to the limitations of this hardware (as well as my love for the terminal) I have settled into doing nearly everything in a terminal emulator. I am using sway and have a terminal emulator open on 6 different virt desktops for various things. One of them has a web browser that I try to keep to 3 tabs or less.
