So apparently the smallest $5 #linode isn't enough to run a even a single-user #mastodon instance. One needs at least 2 vCPU cores to run smoothly, otherwise the various sidekiq jobs will eventually kill the CPU. Ah, #Ruby, if only were you a tad more efficient.
@MatejLach I wish people would migrate away from NodeJS and Ruby towards golang.
