I think the biggest problem is that large non-profits are run exactly like large corps these days and so they 'need' engagement metrics, analytics etc.
That's one thing Anand Giridharadas is right about, that today's 'activists' have been willfully misled by capitalism to believe that they can both, get its spoils, (previously only attainable by commercial tycoons), and do good work
@MatejLach The ACLU has been steadily moving away from its original core focus on civil liberties for a while now. It appears to be turning into yet another US blue-team political organization, and should be treated as such.
